


Ben Leathers BHSI (regd) is a freelance Instructor, registered with the Bristish Horse Society and BE Accredited Coach, based in the South East of England.
Ben offers the horse owner the complete service to help achieve any equestrian ambition. Everything from high level instruction and training in all disciplines, to advice on horse ownership for those starting out. BHS exam training and competition coaching for Dressage, Eventing or Show Jumping is available to support your most ambitious goals.
Ben feels that it is important that the horse and rider have a natural harmony with each other in whichever disipline they work in. This allows for a solid foundation to be set enabling them to reach their ambitions.
Ben offers a wide range of equestrian services. These cover all aspects from teaching to clipping. Some of these services are seasonal like clipping for example, but most are all year. Ben mainly teaches but also offers schooling and developing youngsters.



Ben holds the BHS Instructors certificate which comprises of Stable Manager’s, Senior Teaching and Senior Equitation certificates which shows a sound knowledge and experience with horses.
This is shown with over 22 years of teaching and some 37 years of riding. Working in the equestian industry since 1988, Ben has spent many years gaining experience by working in competition yards,livery yards and equestrian centres.
Since 1997 Ben has been freelancing throughout the South East, working with Pony Clubs, Riding Clubs and many private clients and competition riders.
